Gascosage Electric Cooperative is proud to announce a joint effort with YHTI, the area's most progressive internet provider.
YHTI is comprised of the former employees of the original InterNET Solution, the company out of Washington, Missouri, who first brought local internet access to Dixon, Crocker, and Iberia. This alliance was formed when Gascosage recognized a need for an alternative internet access provider last fall.
Fred Becker, Director of Operations for YHTI is quoted as saying:
"We are dedicated to bringing back the TRUE local service that you once knew. We are composed entirely of experienced former InterNET Solution employees who want to show you what the phrase "Your Home Town Internet" really means."
The new company promises to combine the prompt, reliable, home town service supplied like the old InterNET Solution with even newer technology than before. YHTI will be riding the wave of an all-fiber optic network provided by Gascosage Technologies, LLC, and Sho-Me Power Technologies, LLC, and will be covering the areas of Dixon, Crocker, and Iberia.
YHTI is now operational throughout our area, connected by phone lines provided by the Windstream Corporation. The final segment of the fiber optic network will be completed by Sho-Me Technologies, LLC, in the late summer. This conversion will establish YHTI on a high speed total fiber optic backbone network, connecting our area to the main Sprint junction point in St. Louis.
If you would like fast, reliable internet connections, contact YHTI at (866) 670-9484, or visit their website at www.yhti.net. Their offices are located at 214 Elm Street in Washington, Missouri 63090.
